Rachael Spence is a unique individual in her own profession She can be found working on glamour, music videos, TV, film, catwalk, or commercials.
Rachael is a former MAC trainer for London, the worldwide cosmetics company. She now works all over England and has recently formed a hair, body and make up agency, helping a range of up and coming artists to do what she did and still does best.
Born in Northern Ireland, brought up in Vancouver and now residing in London England, Rachael has diverse experience in Beauty, fashion and anything artistically inspiring.
After completing an Intensive Stylist Training Diploma at Axis Hair Salon, Vancouver, She became the youngest hair stylist ever at the age of 14. In the 8 years that she worked there she managed to build up a fierce and loyal clientele.
In the last two years of working at Axis, Rachael continued her studies at the prestigious Blanche Macdonald Make Up School in Vancouver, completing a full honors Diploma in Make up Artistry. Having done hair for 8 years, Rachael now wanted the same level of experience in make up.
Rachael continued working at the highest level independently. Grasping strong clients within the huge music scene in Canada and pushing forward her ever-expansive skills in the face and body.
Rachael later moved to London in the hope of finding new and exciting opportunities within the world of beauty. Rachael started working for MAC Cosmetics where she immediately achieved fantastic status as Trainer for London and the south. During her time at MAC she also developed skills in public speaking and was fortunate to do many of the catwalks shows for a number of seasons during London fashion week. She became a popular name very quickly and was offered a position as head-trainer of the Middle East!
As much as a life-changing opportunity this was, Rachael turned it down to leave MAC and begin a Degree in Digital Film, further more pursuing her talents as an all round artist.
Supporting herself through the degree by hair and make up freelancing, Rachael managed to build up a distinguished clientele throughout England and is still continuing to push the boundaries of her abilities. Through combining Film, Make up, Hair and Body, Rachael started, and is continuing to expand her own freelance agency. Although based in London, Rachael Spence has traveled around the world to enhance her career and experience.
